mediatype	Posted - 8 July 2004 9:47 Hi, I am with an amazing person who makes me very happy. He has many worries about me giving him HIV (I am positive) Can you transmit by kissing or oral sex?
tam	Posted - 3 August 2004 23:16 With any disease transmission there are no "absolutes" but there is statistical data to use as guidelines. As for kissing, there has been no link to transmission unless you have poor dentition with bleeding gums as well as your partner. As for oral sex, the risks are low if you (positive) are the giver and not the receiver, of course, considering you have good dentition and aren't breaking the skin with your technique. melisadenny	Posted - 22 July 2009 8:31 No there is not risk. But if you are in relationship with your partner is also at less risk, not being the receptive partner in anal sex. And yes, having a well controlled viral load does significantly reduce the risk of HIV transmission. Cure Genital Warts
