Hey,
A few years ago I got an HIV test after I was raped. They did the test at the hospital after the rape kit. The first time, the nurse seemed very upset (I was 15, that might have been part of it)and said that the test had come back "transitional". She gave me another test and it came back negative. I have been wondering lately if anyone knows what transitional means. Was the test busted? Does it mean I was exposed to the virus but my immune system fought it off? If anyone has ideas, I would appreciate them.

Confidential HIV & AIDS Home Test Kit
Results over phone, anonymous testing in privacy of your home. FDA approved! Accurate!
This approved system uses a simple finger prick process for home blood collection which results in dried blood spots
on special paper. The dried blood spots are mailed to a laboratory with a confidential and anonymous personal
identification number (PIN), and analyzed by trained clinicians in a certified medical laboratory using the same
procedures that are used for samples taken in a doctor's office.
