tch	Posted - 19 August 2009 17:2 Hi forum, I'm very new to this so please bare with me. As yet I've not had a positive test, but I have had a possible exposure to the the hiv virus. I've caught it within 48 hours, and my doctor has prescribed post exposure prophylaxis medication, which I'm about to start taking. The meds I've been to combat the infection are... 1. Emtricitabine (200mg) & Tenofovir (245mg) (Truvada) combined 2. Kaletra tablets (no stated mg) And to combat nausea and diarrhoea... 1. Metroclopramide (10mg) 2. Loperamide (2mg) My question is about the side effects, has anyone on this forum had experience of these medications? Obviously I'm going to take them, I have a 28 day course and hopefully I'll be clear, I can take an unexpected 28 days, but there are so many 'common' side effects listed, and they all seem incredibly strong. I know the meds must need to be really heavy duty to stop hiv taking a hold, but I'm terrified of what's going to come, could anyone give me an idea what to expect?

I HAVE TWO FAMILY MEMBERS THAT ARE POZ(HIV +)AND I HAVE SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS RESEARCHING EVERYONE'S VIEWS AND CONCEPTS OF "CURES" FOR THIS VIRUS. I DECIDED TO GET THIS PRODUCT OXYSILVERdotcom/INDEX.ASP?AFFID=2712 MAY HELP. THERE IS SOME RESEARCH SHOWING IT KILLS HIV, AND ALSO TETRASHIL WAS CLAIMED TO DO LIKEWISE IN A SUPPRESSED STUDY. I AM GOING TO TRY PAIR OXYSILVER WITH TERRASIL, TYPICALLY USED FOR SORES AND CUTS. NO AVAILABLE CURE IS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC WITHOUT PEOPLE BECOMING AWARE BY WORD OF MOUTH. IF YOU'RE SICK OF PAYING WAY TOO MUCH FOR MEDS THAT DON'T EVEN WORK OR JUST MAKE YOU WORSE, THEN TRY SOMETHING HOMEOPATHIC. I'VE BEEN CHANGING MY CURRENT MEDICAL REGIMEN TO ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE TO INCREASE MY LIFE SPAN.
